Article Marketing – Attract Search Engine Traffic in 6 Steps

Wednesday, March 9th, 2011
Driving search engine traffic to your website is the first thing that you need to do in order to secure decent sales. You can make this happen through article marketing. Here’s what you need to do:

1. Know your target audience and understand their needs. The first thing that you need to do is to ensure that your articles will come out very targeted to the needs and demands of your target audience. Before you start tapping on your keyboard, identify the people that you’re writing for and figure out exactly what they want to read. Conduct surveys if you must to get their pulse.

2. Keyword research. Don’t target any keyword without doing your research. You would want to use those that are very popular in your chosen niche and those that are very profitable. Launch reliable keyword suggestion tools and search your niche. You’ll then get a list of most searched terms and phrases related to your products and services. Ensure that you keep these in mind when choosing your topics to ensure that you’ll be able to give your readers the kind of information that they’re looking for.

3. Use compelling titles. Be very creative and put your best foot forward when writing the title of each of your articles. Your goal here is to make sure that your target audience will not be able to resist opening your articles the moment they see your titles. That will happen if you push their emotional hot buttons, if you pique their curiosity, or if you get them at the edge of their seats and make them want for more.

4. Offer high quality articles. Getting your target audience to open your articles is not the end of the process. You still need to get your audience to read on until they reach your resource box. This is possible if you offer them with high quality articles that are worth their precious time. They will not stop reading if you offer them with exclusive, useful information and if you strive to give them great reading experience.

5. Use amazing resource box. Although there are no strict rules about using the same resource box, I would recommend that you use different ones for each of your articles. Write them based on the content of your copies so they will sound like they’re still part of your articles. Take the opportunity to introduce yourself and your business to your readers. Then, make your call to action benefit-driven so you can get more people to clickthrough your resource box.

6. Distribute your articles. Start by getting your articles published on all A-list article marketing sites. Then, identify blogs and forums that are related to your chosen niche and use them as well. It may take more time but it’s something that you can do to increase the exposure of your articles.

Article Marketing – What You Really Need to Succeed

Wednesday, March 9th, 2011
You’re reading this article because you desperately want to excel in the field of article marketing, right? Well, here are the things that you really need to make sure that great things will happen:

1. Right sets of skills. You’ll easily get noticed in this endeavor if you have compelling writing, research, SEO, and proofreading skills. Obviously, you must have the ability to write informative and interesting articles. You also need to know how to optimize each article that you write to ensure that they’ll show up on relevant listings.

2. Expertise in your chosen niche. There’s no way that you’re going to succeed in article marketing unless you have in-depth knowledge about your chosen niche. Remember, online users will only clickthrough your resource box if they’re convinced that you’re a good source of valuable information. This is the reason why I suggest that you get to know your field inside out first before you use article marketing. Believe me, it will work to your advantage.

3. Attention to detail. It’s very important that you pay close attention even to smallest details to ensure that your articles are perfect. I know, this sounds like putting more time in front of your computer but I can guarantee you that your efforts will pay off. Online users will surely appreciate it if you ensure that your articles have what it takes to give them great reading and learning experience.

4. Genuine care for your readers. This is something that can really make you and your articles stand out from the crowd. You see, most article marketers do not really care about their readers. This explains why there are thousands of useless articles published in the online arena today. If you want your readers to really pay attention and if you want to have a better chance at converting them to web visitors and later on, to paying customers, you need to give them an assurance that you do care about them and that you’re not just after their money. You can do this by loading your articles with useful information and by communicating your genuine interest in helping these people out.

5. Work harder. Article marketing is a very competitive field. It’s important that you’re willing to work very hard to get ahead of the pack. This would mean spending more time in front of your computer writing and distributing more articles. It would also mean not stopping knowing the things that you need to improve on in order to master this endeavor.

6. Track your progress. Don’t just write and distribute articles without knowing if you’re hitting the target. At the end of each week, track down the performance of each of your articles. Know which ones are really helping you send traffic to your website and identify those that are getting ignored. You will need to improve these to ensure that they’ll get the kind of attention they need in the online arena.
