Coaching Program Creation – How to Get Started
Tuesday, May 25th, 2010
- Start by deciding on the niche that you would like to target. Do you want to coach people on how to improve their home based business? Do you want to target those individuals who would like to make money by writing articles for buyers? Perhaps, you would like to help those who would like to get started in information marketing. You can coach anyone as long as you can make sure that you have the needed expertise in helping these people.
- Prepare. Before you start offering your services in the online arena, ensure that you have the needed skills, tools, and resources. As for the skills, you need excellent problem-solving, communication, active listening, analytical, and research skills so you’ll become a more effective coach to your buyers. You must also gather information about your potential buyers before you start coaching them. Know their skill level, their preferences, their level of comprehension, and other things that may have direct impact on their learning.
- Start with email coaching. As you’re just starting out, I suggest that you offer email coaching programs first. Compare to other coaching models, this one is much easier to create. What you need to do is to write emails on topics that your buyers will find interesting. These emails must contain step-by-step guides, instructions, insider tips, and techniques. They must have what it takes to effectively educate your buyers and empower them to do things on their own. Make them easy to understand, scannable, and ensure that they are well-written.
- Offer phone consultations. Once you’re able to attract customers, go ahead and offer one-hour phone consultations every week. Use this to get the feedback of your customers and to track their progress. Anticipate all the questions that they might have and prepare the best answers ahead of time so you can avoid dead air.
- Set up member-only site. If you’re successful in attracting a lot of clients, I recommend that you create a member-only site so you can serve all these people simultaneously. Ensure that your site contains complete information and guides. It must look very professional and easy to navigate. Use videos, audio products, and articles in sharing your in-depth knowledge.
- Welcome feedback and suggestions. Give your customers easy way to contact you should they have feedback, comments, and suggestions. This will help you in improving your coaching programs. List down all the things that these people think that you could have done better. Then, find ways on how you can convert your weaknesses to strengths.
By the way… are you a coach, consultant, entrepreneur, speaker, small business owner or service professional who is tired of getting paid less than you are worth for your coaching and consulting?
What if you could learn how to package and sell your coaching packages for $4k, $8k, even $12k or $25k – and enroll multiple clients per month at those prices?
To begin learning how you can sell your own coaching for between $4k and $25k per client, download my new recording: “How to Sell High Ticket Products Online” here:
